⚔️ Aikido Master’s Vintage Bokuto 木刀 – Handmade Kokutan 黒檀 Sword | Dragon Carved | 1950s | 1M / 3.28ft | Made in Japan ⚔️
An exceptionally rare Aikido master’s bokuto (木刀) handcrafted in the 1950s in Japan from solid Kokutan (黒檀) – Japanese ebony wood, known for its weight, durability, and deep natural color. This type of sword is traditionally used in Aikido, Kendo, Kenjutsu, and other martial disciplines.
This bokuto features a hand-carved dragon motif symbolizing strength, wisdom, and spiritual mastery. I personally acquired it from the original artisan, who created this masterpiece over 70 years ago. Measuring approx. 1 meter (3.28 feet) in length, it's a piece of martial arts history — equally suited for practice, ceremonial use, or display.
Whether you’re a serious Aikido practitioner, martial arts teacher, or collector, this sword represents a true legacy of Japanese craftsmanship and Budo spirit.
